Tried to figure out this whole crypto thing as a research engineer at Polychain Capital. Research focused on scalability, cross-chain interoperability, and consensus mechanisms.
Probably caused some outages working on an AWS platform team. Saved a few million monthly through optimizing internal resource usage.
Shipped a few features at CaptivateIQ. Had a lot of autonomy as the only intern and saw the company become a unicorn.
Made computers go brrrrr as an engineer at TRAC, a data-driven investment firm.
Helped organize Cal Hacks (Berkeley’s flagship hackathon). Put out one too many fires and made amazing memories & friends.
Protocol governance lead at Blockchain@Berkeley. Lost money on dog coins & suspicious DeFi apps.
Some favorites – Spirited Away for movies, Shoe Dog & Exhalations for books, for music it really depends on the vibes but let's choose the 2013 remaster of Hotel California, TJ's 85% dark chocolate for a snack, & Japan for travel.
Explored many hobbies including 6 sports, 3 instruments, & painting. Probably not great at any of them, but I enjoy capturing moments & photos on my camera the most at the moment.
As for life philosophy, I'm mostly just trying to savor the journey with friends and immerse myself in the experience of it all before the sun sets on the grand adventure of life one last time.
